ABOUT BRITTNEY JONES
After finishing my university degree, I remember people in my life turning to me and saying "you're set for life with the job you just landed". On paper, that seemed to be true: a pretty secure job in banking, benefits & a good pension plan... what more could you ask for right out of school?
βHere's the thing though, I didn't love it. Don't get me wrong- I was extremely grateful for the opportunity. But, I remember asking people constantly what they did for a living- hoping I'd find my dream career in theirs.
βYou know what else really bothered me at this point in my life... people who were counting down the days to retirement. Was I actually supposed to only live for the weekends & hate Monday mornings for the next 40 years of my life? It felt suffocating.
βRight around this time, I was presented with a life-changing opportunity- network marketing. When I first started, I really really loved it. I poured my heart and soul into it... and I was obsessed with the potential. The freedom to design my life the way I wanted, to be able to live a laptop lifestyle, and travel? It was seriously a dream come true.
βAnd I was good at it. I loved it, I worked hard at it for 4 years. I wasn't afraid of the hard work, I was practically raised on hard work. But, after a few years in, it felt really hard.
My income was slipping even though I didn't want to admit it (and definitely didn't want anyone to know). I was losing interest and my results were showing it. Right around this same time, I started my social media marketing company. I was in love with insta & had built an account I really loved showing up on. I loved designing pretty feeds, I loved writing clever captions. And what was even more fun, other business' wanted me to do the same for them. I had started to gather a pretty extensive client list.
βAfter hiring my own coach, I realized what I love doing most: I loved it when a bossbabe asked me to go for a glass of wine & talk about business. Because I could sit there for hours, pull out a napkin & draw out on the back exactly what she needed to do to turn her business around, to call in clients online, to grow her instagram, to simplify it. I thrived in that space.
βIt's from there that my coaching business really began. My network marketing business is still there in the background as true residual income, and my coaching business is where my heart thrives.
What can I say? I want you to know that if I can do it, so can you. That's why I'm here. I want to help you start to achieve the results you have been waiting for!
